In the 1970s a chap called Amory Lovins came up with a concept to describe our approach to energy use. Paraphrasing slightly, he likened it to trying to keep a bath tub full of hot water by installing a bigger tap rather than simply fitting a plug.
We´re taking that concept a step further
Our baths lose heat because the hot water, even if you don´t add heat to it, will start to evaporate and the steam takes away the heat
How can you insulate your bath tub?
Wrap it in cotton wool? This would make it difficult to get in and out of!
Cover it in something that looked-a-lot-like-cotton-wool-and-contained-loads-of-air-pockets-that-would-keep-in-the-heat-and-stop-all-that-evaporation.
Something a lot like ... BUBBLE BATH!!
So bubble bath cuts energy consumption, saves money and helps save the planet, WOW!
